Sometimes others are better at describing us than we are- Kirsty Mckenzie, Two Birds co-founder and co-editor, writes about what makes me me.
Meanwhile, I'd describe myself as an adventure lover who has a passion for the outdoors coupled with city life. I’m always on the hunt for new ways to explore and find fantastic stories. I really do care about people and the stories I’m writing about. I believe my ability to listen and be thoughtful allows me to understand stories at a different kind of level. I’m exceptionally driven and conscientious.
I’m happiest when busy working on projects which allow me to be creative and think outside the box. Throughout my time at university as an undergraduate and postgraduate I have raised almost £7000 for charity by organizing club nights, sponsored walks and personal challenges in exchange for sponsorship. A newby to London, I’m enjoying exploring the city and finding adventure and art here. I always have a positive outlook and love to challenge myself.
